William, was born on 22 April 1900.
His parents, Jane and William had just married on 3 February 1900 at the Parish Church, Rainton. So it appears it was a “shotgun wedding”!
He had two brothers, Eli, Joseph and one sister Jessica Crumpton Windlow.
William was a grocer’s assistant, but dies just before his 19th birthday.
The cause of death was Lobar Pneumonia – (probably due to the Spanish influenza outbreak).
His grandfather, Eli Crumpton was the informant, living at the same address – Cross Street, Houghton-le-Spring.)
