Elizabeth Pearson (Windlow) 1800 - 1878
Elizabeth was born to parents, George and Isabella Sobers about 1800 in Eaton, Lancashire.
She married William Winlow/Windlow (a Mariner) on 19 February 1828 at Gateshead, Durham and they had several children:
The 1841 census records Isabella age 12, Sarah Ann aged 7, William age 6, George 3 years and Elizabeth aged 1 Year all living at Milbourne Place, North Shields.
Her husband dies in 1842/early 1843 as he is recorded as deceased on Joseph's birth certificate on 31 January 1843.
The 1851 census records Elizabeth living with her widowed daughter, Isabella Huggup, a straw bonnet maker in Tynemouth.
Elizabeth, also a widow, is relying on Parish Relief.
Living with Elizabeth and Isabella are Isabella’s brothers, 15 year old William who is a seaman, 13 year old George is an errand boy, and Joseph, is 8 years old and a “scholar”
The census records of 1861 shows Elizabeth with her father, George, and sons, George (a mason's labourer) and Joseph (a Pitman) and 5 year old Grandson, John Thomas Sobers Huggup.
Elizabeth dies in 1878
